Foundation Drilling on Solar Farms
We provide specialized drilling services for renewable energy infrastructure projects, focusing on foundation preparation for solar farm installations.
Using high-performance drilling rigs, our team drills precision foundation holes to engineering specifications, ensuring stable and durable support for solar panel mounting structures. Foundation holes can be drilled to a depth of 1.9 metres with a 300 mm diameter, following surveyed layout coordinates.
Our operations include full site establishment, safety compliance, controlled drilling and quality verification of each hole before handover for structure installation. Our director Chester Coetzee, together with his business partner Jan van Deventer,
has also successfully completed foundation drilling for two major solar developments,
namely the De Aar Solar Farm and the Bosof Solar Power Project, further demonstratin
DPR Drilling’s experience and capability in the renewable energy sector.
This process ensures accurate alignment, structural integrity, and efficient project execution for large-scale solar farm developments.
